[Mailinglist] sendmail problem

Haaai Every1

LINUX: REDHAT 9.
PROBLEM: unable to send emails using sendmail or mutt.

The only change I made was to sendmail.mc.
I commentd out the follwing line

DAEMON_OPTIONS(`Port=smtp,Addr=127.0.0.1, Name=MTA')dnl

Anyway,I am sending my sendmail.mc as attchmnt.
Do we have to change any othr config files...?

The sendmail service status : running...

But it works butiful in Knoppix 3.3 . I couldn't locate sendmail.mc
in knoppix though...and I am unable to send mail to yahoo.com or sify.com
..and the like. It works nice with hotmail.

I get the errors saying tht the list of arguments is not correct or the 
syntax is
not correct etc when i try to send mails to yahoo.

Please Help..
