[Mailinglist] Gentoo: Unable to LOG in

Thank you sir. But gnome was not installed. There were
some error and the installation aborted halfway. I was
trying to install xorg first.i had given the foll
command:

emerge -DuN x11-base/xorg-x11

Installation was not complete but was aborted someway
in between .

I replaced the /etc folder from an another working
machine. Still the problem persist.

Is there anything else i should be doing?
