Hello Friends ,
  i dont think much interesting stuff happened in
linux front in 2006 
and linux flag holders like suse went to MS fold. SLED
could have been a vista killer. and other releses like
ubuntu 6.10 fedora 6 dint make that much impact expect
in therir communities and debian is taking too much
time to freeze. the distros have come a long way but
still long way to go to become a desktop replacement
for desktop  user.i hope year 2007 will bring some
great innovations wihich willl make linux  a great
desktop.
