I agree we should appreciate people who come up with new distros, I also agree that such harsh languages should be avoided on this mailing list. but i guess BKR has made a point. if someone comes up with a distro (i bliv) it has to have something of its own otherwise if it is just a few graphics that is different, i bliv we are better off releasing themes.

Great dude!! You are great. I would suggest you go to  http://distrowatch.com/ you could get loads of lard distros. It would be a great project fro you to find out all the lard distros in the world and express disgust. you may even enter  guinness book

No, I don't appreciate the effort because there are many well made distribution efforts out there  
example: MEPIS started out as a single person effort so did gentoo, fedora.us, slackware, knoppix.... 
  
It would be great if we can know what is your contribution to the Free and Open Source souftware before you bark at anyone.

Did you submit any patches yet? Any bug reports? Any documentation? Let us know where you stands.

Oh, those days mandrake didnt have a website even. My point brother: why bother with a distro if snoopix is just a blue-green rip-off with proprietary software thrown in. whats so bloody different about your distro (other than the red SFS kerala green background) :O?  
  
At least that is different. WHO THE HELL do you think you are to  tell Sachin what he should do and what he shouldn't??
 

 
 You want to do a distro, fine. make it useful, do some research. put up some documentation on how i can use malayalam in it. how can i get updates? how can i configure stuff? where do i go if i have a problem? forum? irc-channel? who do I blame when it fucks up my disk?  
  
If you feel these things are missing go ahead and fix it. 
OK Assume he does all these requirements will you pay him? It is Free as in Freedom not Free as in Free Beer.
