First, your subject line of "help me" is least helpful.  It is obvious that you
need help; otherwise u wouldn't be mailing to this list.

There is no such thing as an unsuported hardware provided the right driver is
given.  What many people consider as an unsupported hardware is hardware that
fails autoprobing.

You haven't mentioned which release of Debian you are talking about.  Even the
latest Debian release (Sarge) comes with a default 2.4 kernel, although I'd
recomment going for the 2.6 series.

Another great thing about your mail is that you haven't provided any clue as to
what the build of the modem is.  What model it is.  Whether you have any IRQ
confict due to another PCI device connected in the same bus.  Et cetera, et
cetera.


Great!  Poeple should always keep sending mails like this.  A great way to
spend ur pasttime.  Go figure.
