[Mailinglist] Why Desktop Linux Will Not Take off, and Why You Don't Want It to

Hey guys,

I am all for desktop linux to become a success. Now that schools in
Kerala are moving to Linux, we will need desktop linux for the people
who are used to linux but are not 'geeky' enough to handle Gentoo or
Debian. On offence to Gentoo and Debian users.

Anyway Ubuntu is good - it is as 'desktop' as Linux will ever be.

I use Fedora Core 5 by the way.
