[Mailinglist] gnu software in schools

Hi Friends,

There is a letter in todays Mathrubhoomi daily titled 
 free software and IT learning in schools. the author
expressed his concerns since the software developed is
not bug free . and he says that most of the schools
they are unable to run it . and since 2008 SSLC exams
are going to be conducted using gnu software its going
to create a problem .

what i feel that it may be installation problem
concerning hardware configs .may be at schools they
may not no how to install GNU / linux properly . i
hope our lug will take an initiative to help  if such
problems are reported in a near by school.
