Meeting Agenda  :  "Open Document Formats"
(proposed)

The discussion will concentrate  mainly on the following important questions :

 -> Free Document Formats - Why we need to worry ?

 -> Why India as a Democratic country should adopt Open Formats ?

 -> Dangers with proprietary formats ?

 -> What we can do at the grass root level to implement these formats as standards. 
- Create Awareness 
- Educate people 
- Provide training

The first "Document Freedom Day" will be celebrated on March 26.

 The discussion being held on Open Document Formats will definitely provide a boost to the activities.

Technical Presentation  : " GIMP in Daily Use " by Arun 

The GNU Image Manipulation Program, or GIMP, is a Free Software raster graphics editor used to process digital graphics and photographs. (www.gimp.org)
The presentation will touch upon the basic aspects of Photo Editing with GIMP and few tips and tricks for daily use.

We will have our usual Q&A Session after the Technical Presentation.
