I appreciate similarity, both free/open source foundation and
socialist/communist ideas are built up on humanity conceptually.
Basically communism/socialism does not descriminate Americans, though
it might be different when we see the ruling party in kerala or else
where in the world and that could be the concern of our member :-)

It would have been better if you describe what is meant by socialism or communism - there may be divergent views on them. Free Software development could be a working socialist model (sharing of ideas) or a working communist model (with communities developing each idea/project).
