I would say that that statement is partially wrong. Because I have used
them. But it was 15 years ago. May be they don't make mechanical keyboards
now.

I agree that TVS Gold is good and better than any membrane keyboard. But
personally I don't like the key arrangement of TVS Gold and I think buying
an old IBM, HCL or PCS is better than buying a new TVS Gold. Also TVS Gold
is very noisy, like type writter. So TVS Gold is my last choice.

If you are satisfied with TVS then it is easy to get one. The dealers
won't stock it. You have to place an order.
