Its nothing like that. I almost found the teachers to be 'helpful'... My 
project didn't get the green because the HOD mam told me that creating 
an expert system that understands natural language is a very difficult 
task.

I was previously under the impression that I would be able to find the 
algorithms and data sets of such kinds of systems from the internet 
because I knew that there are several kinds of experts systems and 
chatbots that use the kind of technology. But she told me that I might not 
get the source codes of those stuff. That made perfect sense to me.

And about web projects, we had a simple sms-web idea that was 
welcome by the teachers. But we realized that it was too simple an idea 
to be done as a college mini-project and abandoned it ourselves. We 
wanted to do a more competing and challenging project that stands out 
in a CV, especially at these times of recession.

Our new project idea is to create a 'real' compiler for the Python 
programming language.
