Hi, I am a third year BTech computer science student. And I need to do a project for the university curriculum.<br>So I have an idea about creating something similar to a voice activated desktop environment (for the Linux platform of course). I am also interested in implementing artificial intelligence/self learning elements like user routines, self optimization... Also something close to an expert system.<br>
<br>So are there any good FOSS voice recognition engines available? And natural language processing? And any frameworks for the AI part? Things similar to Prolog and Lisp would help? Any kind of feedback remotely close to this topic is welcome...<br clear="all">
